Nisula 175E

Energy wood head with traditional grapple arms

Nisula 175E energy wood head is equipped with broad grapple arms to improve its loading capacity. The tip-plated arms grab and take all stems, even tree bunches and bushes, to the knives for cutting. The swing function can be set at a suitable pressure level for the crane by means of an easily adjustable valve.

In 175EV, the tilt direction can be turned by means of a tilt direction valve, allowing the use of the head for erecting different kinds of poles. The EV model increases the number of ways in which harvester heads can be utilised.

The adapter kits available as accessories allow easy replacement of practically any timber grapple by 175E/EV. No separate control systems or additional hosing is needed.

E-series energy wood heads, operating principle

1

With the cutting blade attached, small stems can be felled and bundled on the ground. Felling and loading directly onto the loading space is also easy.

2

With the cutting blade detached and the tilt mechanically locked, the head can be used like a regular grapple to load energy wood or other types of timber.
